Hill Country Collection by Hooker Furniture

by Star Furniture on June 6, 2017

As Texans, we LOVE our Texas Hill Country. I believe we can all agree that many of our values are rooted in this very terrain, whose rugged beauty, wide vistas and low rolling hills make us the proud Texans we are! 😀

With that being said, I’m extremely excited to introduce our latest and greatest collection by Hooker Furniture – the Hill Country Collection! Inspired by the most beautiful examples of the American countryside, this gem of a collection truly embodies the appreciation we have for our beloved region.

Each piece conveys the landscape’s raw and effortless aesthetic through its traditional design and natural wood material. It’s clear as day that a fondness for the American countryside perseveres through this collection. 🙂

The collection’s style is rugged, traditional, and majestic, much like the landscape of the Texas Hill Country. Take the Hill Country Queen Mansion Bed for instance:

It’s short grain veneer inlays, clipped corners and beefy bun feet make this bed (also available in a king size) so dramatic! It’s grand and completely breathtaking.

Additionally, the collection incorporates environmental elements that mark this American region as well! For example, the Gamble Oak motif inspired by the scrub oaks so prominent in the area are featured on the b-e-autiful Hill Country Huntboard and Bachelor’s Chest:

It’s like bringing everything you love about the outdoors right to your home! As a whole, this gorgeous collection is rather unique because it’s directly inspired by Mother Nature herself. It’s quite the change of pace from the ever-growing contemporary style we tend to see in furniture.

Each piece captures the stories, artistry, and culture of the Texas Hill Country through its bold, authentic design. Just take a look at the jaw-dropping Hill Country Trestle Dining Table:

It’s has a stunning main finish called a “timeworn saddle brown,” which is also found across various pieces throughout the collection! It’s actually applied on top of a flat cut rustic white oak veneer that is cracked beforehand to achieve a natural, seasoned appearance.

It seems like the most beautiful designs draw inspiration from the most natural elements we sometimes take for granted – which is why I’m in love with these new pieces! 🙂

So come check it out and swing by our showroom floor lovelies! And, as always, don’t forget to share the news about the Hill Country collection with your friends!
